My journey as a Financial Independent Advisor began in 2021, but the purpose that drives me today was shaped long before that—through resilience, hardship, and faith. My mission is simple: to help families protect their future and achieve financial peace, because I know personally how life’s uncertainties can change everything in an instant.

I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I worked in hospitals as an assistant nurse before moving to Canada in 2010. Like many newcomers, I had to start over. I became a nanny—far from the work I was used to—but I embraced the challenge and worked tirelessly to build a better life for my family. In 2014, my husband and daughter joined me, and for a moment, life seemed to be moving forward.

Everything changed the following year during my second pregnancy when I was diagnosed with kidney failure. I underwent daily dialysis while carrying my baby, and with my husband just starting his job as a factory worker, our family faced unimaginable emotional and financial hardship. Through the grace of God, determination, and the support of others, we overcame each obstacle one day at a time.

This experience opened my eyes to the true importance of protection and coverage—especially critical illness insurance. I realized how unprepared most families are for unexpected crisis, and I became determined to learn more so I could help others avoid the financial strain we endured.

After giving birth, I pursued my studies as a Medical Office Administrator, attending classes while doing dialysis every other day. In 2017, I received a life-saving kidney transplant, and the following year, I graduated with the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Career College of Ontario.

In 2021, a family friend introduced me to Greatway Financial, and that moment changed the direction of my life. Greatway not only taught me how to work hard—it taught me how to work smart. It opened my mind to new possibilities, including financial stability and time freedom, which I had never imagined could be within my reach.

Today, I work full-time as a Medical Office Administrator and part-time as a Financial Independent Advisor with Greatway.

My passion has grown far beyond myself. I want to help families prepare for life’s uncertainties so they never experience the kind of financial hardship that my family went through. I also want to empower others to discover the same life-changing opportunity that gave me hope and a fresh start.
